The advertised continental breakfast was very minimal.

The parking lot was littered with garbage. Yuk! The hallway carpet was filthy and did not get vacuumed. The ‘fresh’ towels had blood and other stains. The toilet floor screws were missing covers and were visible and rusty. The shower drain stop was dirty and rusty. The toilet paper roller was dirty and rusty. There were no towel racks in the bathroom. There were holes left in the bathroom door where a towel hook had once been. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom which is why there is mold on the bathroom walls, ceiling and shower curtain. When we opened our room door we found our room had not been cleaned and the dirty towels were still in the middle of the bathroom floor soaking up the water. Upon return that evening we were informed it had been fixed. When we left the hotel for the day we let the front desk know the rod needed to be fixed. The curtain rod was missing a couple of screws, making the shower curtain droop, allowing water to puddle in the middle of the bathroom floor. We had a shower curtain issue the next morning. She called while we were out to let us know she had personally vacuumed our carpet and maintenance had locked the outside end entrance. We told her we wanted to find other accommodations and she told us our credit card had been charged for the entire stay and she could not refund our money. Which would mean everyone would have to use the main entry. The receptionist asked if we were going to have dinner and she would have the floor vacuumed and the door locked while we were out. Beginning with not feeling safe because the side entrance was not secured and our floor was dirty. We went back to the front desk to let them know we were not happy with our accommodations.

We went to our room and found it had a bad smell, the carpet had not been vacuumed and the room did not look or feel clean. The receptionist informed me the card key slot didn’t work and that we should just pull hard and the door woukd open. We discovered our card key was not working in the outside end entrance so I went back to the front desk. We checked in and were advised to use the outside end entrance. This is the worst lodging experience I’ve ever had.
